Feature Friday: Meet Daniela S.

Guess what?! It’s Friday! There’s a new traveller to check out on the blog! Come meet Daniela!

Welcome back to Feature Friday! Today we have Daniela here with us to share her experiences, her thoughts, and her travels. Not only does Daniela travel the world, documenting her adventures along the way, but she also works full-time. Finding a balance between a job, a blog [which is basically another full-time job], and travelling is hard work, but she manages to pull it off amazingly! Let’s see what Daniela has to share with us today:

Universal Orlando for the Day

Welcome back to Life with Larissa! In the second part of the two-part series of our Florida trip, we focus on our trip to Universal! You can read about our trip to Disney the previous day here. So the day after Disney, my sister, Brit, and I headed to Universal Orlando with our cousin, JoJo, and her co-worker, Ashton. We had the park-to-park admission tickets, so we decided to tackle Islands of Adventure first. As you know, I’m not a roller coaster fan, so I hung out by my lonesome a couple of times while they all decided to ride the more thrilling rides. The first ride they rode was the Hulk. JoJo and Ashton tried to convince me to go on it, but after Ashton described it as ‘shooting us out’, I immediately declined. Continue reading “Universal Orlando for the Day”

Disney World for the Day

A few weekends ago, my sister, Brit, and I were able to travel to Orlando, Florida. We were meeting up with one of our long-time friends for one day, and staying with our cousin for the rest of the days. We also had the opportunity to visit both Disney World and Universal Studios while down there. It was my sister’s first time in both parks, so it was exciting to see her reactions while experiencing the parks. In this two part series of our adventures, you’ll read about our experiences at the parks! This post is dedicated to our time at Disney World! Continue reading “Disney World for the Day”

What Do You Like Taking Pictures Of?

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post about what I’d like my first destination in South America to be due to the fact that I am a swimmer. Well, I think swimming continues to infiltrate in other areas of my life – more than I thought – because when I look at most of my pictures, they are dominated by one common factor; water. The First South American Country I’d Visit

You may or may not know that I used to be a competitive swimmer {/I still am, considering I’m getting back into it?}. Anyway, that being said, a few destinations have stumbled onto my bucket list for this very reason. I was thinking to myself how I’ve never been to any country located in South America, and immediately I knew if I have the option to choose, Chile is going to be the first South American country I visit.  Continue reading “The First South American Country I’d Visit”

An Open Letter To My Perfect Travel Partner{s}

When you travel with people, you’ll find some people are better at travelling with you than others.

It’s fun to travel in groups, and it’s fun to travel solo. For me, I find it best to travel with one-two people, as long as I’m travelling with the right person{s}. Travelling with another person is such a tricky business. It can literally make or break relationships of any kind. Just because we may be best friends, doesn’t necessarily mean that you’ll be my perfect travel partner. The perfect travel partner is found through trial and error, and when you finally get it right, it’s truly an amazing experience! Continue reading “An Open Letter To My Perfect Travel Partner{s}”

Where Are You From?

‘Where are you from?’ Such a simple question for most, but a complex one for me. Read on to find out why!

“Where are you from?”

This is one of the questions that I dislike the most; a question that baffles me to no end. To each person who asks it, it has a different meaning. To each person to whom it is asked, it is interpreted differently. How does one even begin to answer a question such as that?! Let me give you some insight on what goes on in my head when someone asks me that: Continue reading “Where Are You From?”
